Dear Overwhelmed Entrepreneur,
Thanks for allowing me to take up a little of your attention today.
I know you’re super busy and you have a to-do list that’s a mile long.
There’s always something to DO.
So let’s make this easier for you. There is no “doing” involved with this Museletter today.
It’s more about being.
Being in a state of forgiveness.
READ ON TO FIND OUT MORE.
This is an excerpt from my up and coming programme for time-starved and overwhelmed (and unorganised) entrepreneurs.
If you want to reclaim your time back from your business, this is for you.
Today, we're going to get right into the feels with forgiveness.
"Hold on, that's not what I signed up for!"
Correct, you signed up to get your time back from your business but let's start with one of the significant issues that women have.
You are too hard on yourself.
We are impossibly hard on ourselves for all kinds of reasons.
Not being enough/being too much.
Not doing enough/doing too much.
Not having it all figured out.
The list is endless.
We aren't very nice to ourselves, and until we start being super kind to ourselves, we're always going to feel that underlying stress of having to do something.
We live in a world where doing and having are praised, and being is thought of as lazy.
We run our lives by our productivity and time spent doing.
We don't value our impact by just being.
The greatest thing we can do, as a human, is to be kind to ourselves.
Once we are kind to ourselves and fill up our cup, we can offer that kindness to others.
I've just had a conversation in my local coffee shop with the barista.
"How are you, really... how are you?"
That interaction and just being there to witness someone is priceless.
And doing it in a way that only you can is enough.
Even being kind to yourself is enough.
Too often, we're told that we have to achieve something every day when all we want to do is keep ourselves breathing! Especially when we have family commitments.
Then we pile our relationships on top of that.
AND you've got a business...
We have chosen to do one of the hardest things a human can do.
Entrepreneurship is one of the most rewarding journeys to go on but let's all agree that it is HARD.
It's challenging in ways we didn't sign up for.
You are facing your blindspots, working beyond what is expected, putting yourself out there day after day to be rejected.
I didn't sign up for that. I wouldn't have started if I had known that.
But we did. We decided to go all-in on a business idea, and it's wiping us out.
That drive and determination we have are slowing killing us with stress, burnout and exhaustion. And the biggest killer, mental health problems.
Entrepreneurs are three times more likely to have mental health issues than non-entrepreneurs.
I've personally lost good humans to suicide from the pressure of entrepreneurship.
And that's why I'm doing what I do.
To help entrepreneurs get over the most significant mindset issues and leadership problems. Plus leveraging technology to run more efficient and influential enterprises.
So yeah, you're in the right place if you're an entrepreneur who's overwhelmed, exhausted, burned out and ready to throw your business in the bin.
And I'm glad you're here because you've forgiven yourself.
You were doing the best you could, in the situation you were in, with the information and the team you had.
If you had more knowledge, a bigger team, more time, more money, you would have done something different.
But you didn't, and that's OK.
We're all muddling through and doing the best we can.
This programme is a permission slip to forgive yourself.
While there’s nothing for you to DO today if you are called to find out more about the programme then you can register your interest.
You can also help me out by sharing your time troubles with me. Everything is confidential.
Plus, you'll get access to my DAILY RITUALS for Entrepreneurs Programme for FREE.
